The Signature Health Father's Day 5k & 1-Mile Fun Run benefiting Alabama Waldorf SchoolPresented by Alabama Waldorf School at Oak Mountain State Park June 17, 2012 This is a fun, mostly asphalt (short stretch of gravel) 5K run (3.1 miles) that includes rolling hills as well as flat stretches. The course was laid out by the Birmingham Track Club mostly in the shade along the road that runs by the scenic beaches and picnic areas of Oak Mountain State Park. The 1 mile fun run/walk will utilize a portion of the 5K course.
