Turtles, Terrapins and Tortoises……Can You Tell the Difference?

Presented by Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve at Ruffner Mountain Nature Center

In this class you’ll learn how to tell the difference between a turtle, a terrapin and a tortoise and get to meet one of these amazing creatures up close and personal.  After a brief discussion and interview, we’ll take a walk to an area where one of these animals likes to make its home. Following our trek, we will return to the Treehouse and make a craft to take home.
