Have you ever wondered who may have lived in your house before your family moved in? Could the previous owner have been a prominent politician or civic leader? The Birmingham Public Library (BPL) is hosting a workshop on historic house research on Saturday, July 20, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm in the Central Library’s Richard Arrington, Jr. Auditorium. This workshop does not require registration and is free to the public.

The workshop is sponsored by the Jefferson County Historical Commission and the Birmingham Historical Society.
