Stranger than Fiction: True Sound and Radio Journalism

Grades 2nd through 9th
Campers will learn from professional journalists the art of finding a great story. We’ll investigate what sounds are needed for a story and why. Campers will collaborate to develop the seeds of several stories and then will work individually to find different angles to cover, culminating in a radio program to be broadcast on Radio Free Alabama.
