He is happy to be doing music for a living and knows the reason people go to dance parties is to shake their butts and have fun. British DJ/producer Andrew Thorp. Born in Manchester, England and raised on a diet of 80's house, disco, northern soul and early electro. As a teen he would sneak into many of Manchester's underground night clubs and talk his way into the booth to watch and learn from his favorite DJ's. He then became a DJ.

After moving to America, he didn't waste any time, building a solid reputation as an opening DJ. In the last few years he has opened for some amazing acts, such as Radiohead, Ghostland Observatory, Pretty Lights, Two Fresh, Big Gigantic, Neon Indian, Savoy, Kaskade, Carl Cox, DJ Shadow, Marty Party, Cherub, Big Boi, Yelawolf, and oh so much more.
