International House of Peace Charity Golf Tournament
Birmingham, AL –July 31, 2015
International House of Peace announced today their 2015 charity golf tournament on Thursday, October 1st, at Highland Park Golf Course in Birmingham, Alabama. All proceeds from the event will benefit the International House of Ethnic and Religious Peace and Reconciliation.
The tournament will be a four-person scramble format. Tournament day check-in begins at 11:30 a.m. and Tee Time is at 1 p.m. Entrance fees are $75 per player and includes green fee, range balls, cart fee, lunch and beverage tickets. Sign up with your group of four or individuals will be paired with other players. Prizes include 2 place prizes, a long drive prize, and a closest to the pin prize.
“At International House of Peace, we have created a place where people of all faiths and cultures can come and learn about what we have in common with one another as fellow human beings,” says Ray Wade, Executive Director. “This tournament is a way for community members to have a good time of fellowship and raise some money for our respective programs. All of the net monies raised will go to enhance our seminars and educational outreach for peace and tolerance. Highland Park Golf Course has been very helpful in hosting this event for us, and is in excellent shape. We thank them for their hospitality.
