Own It

You’re weird, and that’s awesome. Our faith affirms that God loves diversity, that the image of God is reflected in all kinds of human beings. 

But there are a lot of pressures that tell us to deny that image and to be dishonest about who we are: religious, social, interpersonal, and economic pressures. Sometimes we are afraid at taking an honest look at ourselves because we’re afraid of what we might see. 

Own it. God has given you as a gift to the world. Learn to appreciate that gift and all the ones around you.
