Annual Banquet

Dr. Kathy Koch, the Founder and President of Celebrate Kids, Inc., will address attendees of Sav-A-Life Shelby as the non-profit organization celebrates 30 years of serving Shelby County.

“Celebrate Life” is this year’s banquet theme, and the event will be held at The Club, Inc., on September 29th at 7:00pm. The fundraising event is free to attend and includes dinner, a ministry update from Sav-A-Life Shelby, and a keynote address by Dr. Kathy Koch. Donations will be accepted to further the work of Sav-A-Life Shelby’s Pregnancy Resource Center. To attend the banquet, RSVP to Ally at ally@savalifeshelby.org.

The Pregnancy Resource Center of Sav-A-Life Shelby exists to serve people facing unplanned pregnancies in Shelby County. For 30 years, the ministry has worked to share compassion, support and love to Pelham and all surrounding communities. In 2015, the center opens its doors to begin testing for STDs as well.

“We are here to offer truth, love and compassion to people in crisis,” said Bob Foust, Executive Director.  Thus far in 2015, the Pregnancy Resource Center has had nearly 1000 client visits.  “We wish to serve the people of Shelby County not only in word but also in deed.” The Pregnancy Resource Center offers free pregnancy tests and limited sonograms, peer counseling, community referrals, prenatal and parenting classes, material assistance, and educational outreach.
