The Tannehill Woodcarvers Club sponsors a woodcarving show and sale each October in the park at the Cane Creek Schoolhouse. The show is culminated with a drawing for a Christmas Tree decorated with all hand carved ornaments donated by the members. The Tannehill Woodcarvers Club was chartered in 1985 for the purpose of promoting the art of wood carving, to acquaint the general public with sculpturing in wood and to bring back and preserve the almost lost art of woodcarving.
