The Komen North Central Alabama Race for the Cure is a unique 5k walk/race event, designed to encourage public dialogue about breast cancer, deliver breast health messages, promote the importance of early detection, raise funds for local breast health services, programs and research and helps serve as a powerful, visual annual reminder to get a mammogram. The Race for the Cure is an energetic and uplifting event that provides thousands of women, men and their families the opportunity to get involved and make a difference within our local community.
