2015 Movement Workshop Series

Professional Modern/Contemporary Dance Movement Workshop Series taught by Sanspointe Dance Company members Sara Wallace, Alisa McCool and Anna Foshee. This year’s theme will be “deconstructing dance technique and performance.” The theme coincides with Sanspointe’s upcoming Fall Concert, Deconstruction Zone, an evening length performance that focuses on the re-imagination of famous ballets. 

The classes will be $15 drop-in or $40 total if registering for all three classes in the series. There will be a special offer of $50 for all three classes and a Deconstruction Zone concert ticket. Classes meet October 10th, 17th and 24th from 10:00-11:30 A.M. at The Dance Foundation, 1715 27th Ct. S, Homewood, Al 35209. Classes will be geared toward teen-adult, intermediate level and up.

Sanspointe Dance Company is offering several scholarships for the Movement Workshop Series to local teens interested in studying dance at a professional level. Scholarships will be based on talent and financial need.
