Cuttlebone Jewelry Casting Workshop

Join us at MAKE for a fun class using cuttlebone casting to creat jewelry and small sculptural objects. The process is simple: the student carves a design into the cuttlebone, adds a channel for the molten metal, secures the cuttle bone together with bailing wire. The metal is then melted in a crucible and poured into the mold through the channel. Let cool open up and you have a cool new piece of jewelry or art work.
