Shoot The Moon

Honor everybody’s favorite moonrise, The Harvest Moon, from the south-facing slopes of North Birmingham at Oak Hill Cemetery. The moon will rise at 5:47 pm and will reach its brightest and most beautiful fullness at 9:51 pm.

We will also be pulling a classic film from our growing collection of public domain films to watch on our super-sized “zombietron” screen.

Bring your stadium chairs, cameras, picnic fixin’s musical instruments, and whatever else you might need to keep you chill in Birmingham’s downtown cemetery. Leashed pets and well-behaved children are welcome!   This event is free, but donations are appreciated and help us to defray the costs to put on these wonderful events (for which we have no budget).
