Druid City Ensemble (soprano, flute, harp)

On the first weekend in November, Druid City Ensemble – Dr. Sarah K. Crocker, harp; Dr. Whitney O’Neal, flute; and Dr. Dawn Neely, soprano – will give two free concerts of music written by Birmingham-area composers. The Birmingham Art Music Alliance (BAMA) presents these concerts on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 2:30 p.m., at Southside Baptist Church, and the following Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at the University of Montevallo. The events are a part of BAMA’s Twentieth Anniversary Celebration, marking twenty years of presenting music by Alabama composers. At the same time, the lineup of soprano, flute, and harp defines new territory for many of the composers involved.
