Spring Scramble 5k

Children’s of Alabama and the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s (UAB) Pediatrics Residency Program will host their 10th annual Spring Scramble 5K on Saturday, April 16. The 5K will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Levite Jewish Community Center followed by the Fun Run at 6:30 p.m.  There will be food trucks, live music, awards and door prizes. All money raised will benefit the Children’s of Alabama Healthy Active Living Initiative and Reach Out and Read.

Packet pick up will be Wednesday, April 13 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Trak Shak (2839 18th St. S., Birmingham); Friday, April 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the second floor lobby of the Benjamin Russell Hospital for Children (1601 5th Ave. S., Birmingham); Friday, April 15 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Trak Shak and on race day at the Levite Jewish Community Center (3960 Montclair Road, Birmingham) from 4:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
