Teens and Tech

September’s Teens and Tech event provides hands-on activities to introduce middle and high school students to careers in biotechnology. This event will be hosted by students from UAB’s Sci Tech Honor Society.

This event is FREE for any 6th – 12th graders to attend and dinner is provided.
Younger siblings may not attend. Seating is limited. To reserve a spot, please contact our Reservations Department at 205-714-8414.

The goals of “Teens and Tech” are to (1) engage teens in hands-on, technology-based learning experiences, (2) help them develop 21st Century Learning Skills (critical thinking, collaboration, creative problem solving) and (3) give them the opportunity to learn and practice technology-based skills.
