Zombie Run 5K

Get ready to kick off the haunted season early and enter a totally different kind of run for a good cause. The 2nd Annual “Zombie Run 5K” will be held Saturday, September 17th to benefit The American Cancer Society. You will be running or walking a 5K from blood-hungry zombies that will be popping out and chasing you when you least expect it along the 3.1 mile course. The race will start and finish at Warehouse31 located at 3050 Lee Street in Pelham, AL. You choose your fate, run as “Zombie Bait” or as a “Zombie”.  After the race there will be a survivors party with music, food, and awards. 

Utilize your survival instincts and register now before this deal decays. Unlike zombies, this rate and deal won’t come back from the dead. Sign up now before the T-shirt deadline of September 6th. Registration is available until day of the race with no-late fee. Can you overcome your Fear? Are you fast enough to avoid the Zombies?

Sign-In

8:00 – 9:30am    Pick-up race items at Warehouse31. Sign-Up day of race is available with no late fee.  (T-shirt included while supplies last.)

How “Zombie Run 5k” Works:

When you arrive at registration, you will be given a flag belt with 2 flags attached. Additional flags may be purchased for $5.00 each day of race. Runners will wear their belts so that one flag is on each hip. 
Zombies will attempt to remove your flags to “Infect you”. Each Zombie may only take one flag. 
Even if you are “infected” and have lost both/all of your flags, you can still finish the race. You do not become a “Zombie”. Finish the race as a runner and return to the party.  

Awards:

The runner that finishes the race first (regardless of the number of flags remaining) will receive an AWARD and two VIP tickets to Warehouse 31.
The first runner to make it to the finish line with the most flags still attached will be the Zombie Survivor and will receive an AWARD and two VIP tickets to Warehouse 31. 
The “Zombie” that has collected the most flags will win an award and two VIP tickets to Warehouse 31. 
Most “Creative” Zombie. We encourage everyone participating to join in the fun by coming in full zombie attire and make-up. The winner will receive an AWARD and two VIP tickets to Warehouse 31.

Zombie Bait “Team” Member          $30.00

Create a “Zombie Bait Team” of four or more runners, and each team member runs for the discounted rate of $30.

Zombie with professional make-up     $37.00

Receive a professional zombie make-over by the Warehouse31 make-up artists. 
Arrive by 7:30am on race day to have enough time to get into make-up.
You will be given a “Zombie Position” where you can chase down runners and attempt to get one of their flags.

Receive a professional make-over by the Warehouse31 make-up artists. This is an add-on for folks who want to participate in the race as a runner or for people that do not want to be in the race but want to enjoy some ZOMBIE fun.

Relay for Life high school organizations are involved in raising funds for American Cancer Society

High school Relay for Life organizations are helping to organize and raise funds for this event to benefit “American Cancer Society”
If you have ties to one of the schools participating we encourage you to select that school when purchasing tickets so they will receive credit. 

Only Registration completed by September 5th will be guaranteed to have their official Zombie Run 5k T-shirt prior to the race.
