The Protective Life Foundation is Proud to Support Run Bike Leap: A Collaborative Race for Autism
Birmingham, AL – Leading Birmingham nonprofits, The Autism Society of Alabama and Triumph Services are collaborating to host Run Bike Leap on Saturday December 17, 2016. Run Bike Leap is a truly unique racing experience. This 10K race is designed for the brew loving athlete who wants options: take your pick of running the full 10K, biking the full 10K, or biking the first half, then running the second half. Participants begin at Good People Brewing; make a pit stop at Cahaba Brewing Company, and finish at Good People Brewing. The $45 registration fee includes 2 beer tickets, a race t-shirt, and the after party.
Run Bike Leap would not be possible without the support of the Protective Life Foundation. Other sponsors include: Zyp, Good People Brewing, and Cahaba Brewing Company. Twenty Zyp bikes are available for reservation on a first come, first serve basis. Participants can enjoy handcrafted beverages from Good People Brewing and Cahaba Brewing Company and celebrate with a post-race event at Good People Brewing.
This family friendly race gives everyone the opportunity to come together for a day of fun and also bring awareness to the growing number of teens and adults with autism.
