Alabama Charcoal is Space One Eleven’s advanced studio art class, portfolio development, and career mentoring program for high school students who are serious about art. This rigorous program is designed to increase students’ college or career opportunities by building or enhancing visual art portfolios and drawing skills. To register, complete one application per person on Space one Eleven’s website and submit electronically, by mail, or drop it in the mail slot.
Fees are based on a sliding scale. Families may qualify for free or reduced tuition through the generosity of local foundations and private contributors. The Scholarship Application is located on page 6 of the registration form.
