Conversations About Great Statesman: Gov. Albert Brewer

OLLI of Greater Birmingham presents CONVERSATION ABOUT A GREAT STATESMAN: GOV. ALBERT BREWER with Professor Howard Walthall of Samford University and Dr. Gerald Johnson of Auburn University.  The remarkable life and accomplishments of former Alabama Governor Albert Brewer will be discussed and the lasting impact he had on the State.  Gov. Brewer passed away in Janauary 2017 and the session will include special readings and a proclamation from the Alabama Legislature.  Program will be in the Council Chamber of the new Vestavia Hills City Hall.
