Spring Walking Tour: Downtown, A First Look

Join Vulcan Park and Museum and the Alabama Center for Architecture for our 2017 Annual Walking Tour Series of Birmingham’s history and neighborhoods presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield Alabama.  A remarkable revitalization is happening amongst Birmingham’s downtown historic buildings.  Cherishing the old while establishing a fresh new high tech use for new business and residential city living, our “First Look” excursion will provide a tour of some of the latest buildings that have reopened in the downtown area.  This tour will include The Thomas Jefferson building, The Empire Hotel, the Pizitz building, and the Transportation Hub, just to name a few. *Due to high demand,”Downtown: A First Look” on March 18 has additional tour option at 4 PM.
