Xylouris White

Born into a family of legendary musicians from the island of Crete in Greece, George Xylouris plays the Cretan lute and sings with centuries of musical history coursing through his veins. He’s joined by Australian drummer Jim White, who has plied his trade with everyone from the Dirty Three to PJ Harvey to Bonnie “Prince” Billy and Cat Power. Their ancient and modern worlds converge to create a music that is at once otherworldly and instantly familiar.
