Gadsden Museum of Art

Established in 1963, the Gadsden Museum of Art has established itself as an important part of the cultural mosaic of Gadsden,AL. In addition to hosting Plein Air Festivals for both amateur and professional artists, mounting one-person exhibits of professional artists, and hosting student art shows and quilt shows, the GMA collects, codifies, and disseminates historical information about the facts and myths of the Gadsden area's past and serves as a resource center for interested visitors and local citizens, as well as students and scholars.
