Alabama Youth Ballet Company (AYBC)

The Alabama Youth Ballet Company (AYBC) is the only pre-professional youth ballet dance company in Shelby County. The AYBC presents professionally-styled classical and contemporary ballet performances including Shelby County’s only civic performance of The Nutcracker.

Stevan Grebel, Artistic Director. The mission of The Alabama Youth Ballet Company is to provide high-quality dance performances to Pelham and the metro south area. Students are directed in a pre-professional program to promote a broader understanding of arts and culture to improve the quality of life in the community.
