    Magic City Smooth Jazz is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation governed by its own Board of Directors. It is funded through grants from corporations, foundations, and individuals.

    Our goals are to increase cultural activities in neighborhoods and communities in the Greater Birmingham area by presenting a series of FREE summer performances in various Greater Birmingham Parks; To strengthen neighborhoods and communities by partnering with organizations committed to enhancing cultural activities in the Greater Birmingham area; To support local area jazz artists by providing a platform for performers to showcase their unique artistic style of music from contemporary, straight-ahead, and Latin jazz.
