    Our Partners

Partnering with leaders in our community is central to the success of the Birmingham365.org calendar network.

Below is a list of the partners that are helping us present the full array of creative, cultural, educational, community and leisure activities that our region offers – increasing visibility for everyone while giving our residents more options and our visitors more reasons to stay longer and come back frequently.

    Premier Partners

The Birmingham Business Alliance was created by the merger of Birmingham Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Metropolitan Development Board, a process that began in August 2008, and culminated in the creation of the BBA on July 10, 2009. The BBA will focus on the economic growth of the entire seven-county Birmingham region. Bringing the Chamber and MDB together allows business leaders to create a much stronger and well-rounded entity to promote dynamic growth and improve the quality of life in the region. The Birmingham Business Alliance is a dynamic advocate, unifying voice and constant catalyst for economic development and business prosperity for the Birmingham Region.

The Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham, established as a public charity in 1959, leverages gifts and bequests from many people to drive positive change. We bring people together from all walks of life to address community issues, build on opportunities and achieve measurable results. We work in partnership with others, including area nonprofits, to improve the life of our region.

It's a monthly handbook to all of the great people, places and things our metropolitan area has to offer. Recipes, restaurants, art openings, concerts, homes, real estate, fashion, shopping, business profiles, market information and great stories about people making an impact on our city are just some of the topics you will find in this monthly magazine.

Public Radio WBHM 90.3 FM, a listener-supported service of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, is “Your NPR News Station” and home to the Alabama Radio Reading Service, a resource for the blind and print-impaired. WBHM programming and award-winning regional journalism also can be heard in North Central Alabama on WSGN 91.5 FM through a partnership with Gadsden State Community College. Listen online at WBHM.org and follow the station at WBHM903 on Twitter and Facebook.

Established in May 2011, Weld is the premier source for news and entertainment in the Greater Birmingham area — whether you want to know what’s happening at City Hall or where you should eat on a Saturday night. The weekly newspaper is published every Wednesday and is available — free — at more than 400 locations in the metro area, while WeldBham.com is home to extensive events calendars and numerous niche blogs covering news and politics, arts and culture and community engagement. The name is a nod to Birmingham’s industrial history, but also expresses the company’s philosophical mission — to help bring together a city and region where fragmentation has long impeded economic and social vitality and progress.
