Avondale Park--Birmingham Park and Recreation Board

This 36.5-acre park next to Avondale Library features a mature rose garden and gazebo, WPA-era outdoor ampitheatre (perfect for music, theatre and similar programs) and 2,400 square foot renovated villa(great for special events and family reunions), duck pond,walking track,tennis courts and three youth baseball/softball fields.

      Art in Avondale Park Avondale Park--Birmingham Park and Recreation Board Art in Avondale Park Presented by Art in Avondale Park Alliance, Inc. at Avondale Park--Birmingham Park and Recreation Board May 5, 2012 Come out and join us for a day of art in the newly-refurbished Avondale Park! The event features artists' booths and food vendors, plus free art activities for children, live music and dance, face-painting and more. The mission of Art in Avondale Park Alliance, Inc. is to inspire children to discover their talents through a wide variety of artmaking lessons provided by local art teachers, artists and community volunteers.
