The Museum and the Indian Cultural Society hosted over 700 visitors for Bart’s Asian Adventure: A Day of Color a celebration of the Indian Holiday, Holi in March. Musicians, performers, and artists from the Indian community filled the day with activity and ended it all with lots of color, of course!

Arctic Beauty: Inuit Sculpture from Canada

This exhibition presents 80 works of art made by the Inuit people of Canada. Formerly known as Eskimo, the Inuit are descended from cultures that have inhabited the Arctic regions of Canada, the United States, Greenland, and Russia for over a thousand years. Visually Impaired Programming

The Museum resumes its tours for visitors with visual impairments this spring. In this program for adults, specially trained docents present the permanent collection by means of verbal descriptions, three-dimensional tactile models based on original works of art, and sculpture. The experience may be enhanced by related music and/or art-making to provide multi-sensory access to the visual arts.
Space is limited; reservations are required.
