  * Sundays are donation-only days with the exception of groups. Group rates apply all days.
  
  Group Tours:
  Group Tours consist of 25 of more people. Groups that do not exceed 25 require no advance booking. However, please note: Unscheduled groups may have an hour wait! We regret any inconvenience. FREE BUS PARKING IS AVAILABLE IN THE REAR OF THE BUILDING (15TH STREET NORTH).

Thereafter, the tour will be offered each Saturday at 10 am through September 28, 2013. 03/12/13- 11/30/13	Marching On: The Children's Movement @ 50 Birmingham Civil Rights Institute Marching On: The Children's Movement @ 50 Presented by Birmingham Civil Rights Institute at Birmingham Civil Rights Institute March 12-November 30, 2013 The exhibition tells the story of the Children's Crusade through the words of the foot soldiers who made it happen: the young people of Birmingham in 1963.

Gershman co sponsored by the Birmingham Museum of Art and the Birmingham Islamic Society.  Buried for decades by a rigid Communist regime, the story of how Albanian Muslims saved thousands of Jews during World War II is brought to life in the moving pictorial history, “BESA Muslims Who Saved Jews in World War II,” by photographer Norman H.     Juneteenth Culture Fest Birmingham Civil Rights Institute Juneteenth Culture Fest Presented by Birmingham Civil Rights Institute at Birmingham Civil Rights Institute June 1, 2013 Doug E. Fresh, well-known musician and beat boxer pioneer will headline this day filled with music, food, crazy contests and tons of fun. That's BCRI's Annual Juneteenth Culture Fest in Kelly Ingram Park. A free outdoor music concert and games for all ages take place at BCRI and in Kelly Ingram Park. Vendors supply a variety of great foods and other items for purchase. Celebration includes free admission to the museum.
