120th Year Anniversary Celebration

On August 12, Damien Horne will join the Boys & Girls Club of Central Alabama (BGCCA) to celebrate its 120th anniversary at THE CLUB, Inc. in Birmingham, AL, to celebrate the BGCCA’s 120 years of making a difference in the lives of central Alabama youth! Damien Horne is an award-winning national recording artist who has touched the lives of thousands with his heartfelt personal journey. He is a former Boys & Girls Club member and his act “Rise and Shine” is described as a one-man show full of music, storytelling, laughter, and ultimately a message of purpose, love, and light. Damien has played and recorded with countless acts, such as John Legend, Big & Rich, Lady Antebellum, and more!

The goal of this year’s celebration is to raise $140,000 to enable the continuation of programs that elevate the youth of the central Alabama community and let them know that they are capable, worthy, and important.

Opened as The Birmingham Boys Club in 1901, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Alabama has been a force for good in the lives of youth for 12 decades!
