2023 ALABAMA HUMANITIES ALLIANCE SUPER WORKSHOP

Vulcan Park & Museum is excited to partner with the Alabama Humanities Alliance to host a free Super Workshop for teachers and the public! Please join us Saturday, September 30 from 8:30-12:00 to learn about Birmingham’s Middle Eastern Immigrant Community. Hear from Dr. Annie DeVries of Samford University along with historian Phil Ratliff, who curated VPMs current exhibit, Birmingham’s Early Middle Eastern Community: Celebrating Life & Liturgy. Refreshments will be served. Participating educators will also receive materials and resources and 3 professional development credits.
