3rd Annual Promise Luncheon

The Circle of Promise Initiative was created by Susan G. Komen to educate, empower, and mobilize the African American community in the fight against breast cancer. The Promise Luncheon brings attendees together to educate them about specific breast cancer issues directly impacting the African American community, engage them in local Circle of Promise activities, celebrate breast cancer survivors and co-survivors, and honor the memory of those we have lost to the disease.

This year’s program will feature an educational presentation by Dr. Anita Johnson, from the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, and a keynote presentation by our special guest, Dr. Joy McDaniel, a breast cancer researcher from the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. Each ticket includes the guest’s lunch and a gift from our event sponsors.
