The NCCJ-AL Awards dinner is the premiere honoree event in Birmingham. With keynote speaker and honoree, Dr. Selwyn Vickers and a conversation among honorees Dr. Andrew Westmoreland, Larry Thornton, Nancy Goedecke and Bob Burns.
Every two years, NCCJ-AL hosts this exclusive awards dinner highlighting leadership in our community to reduce bias, bigotry and racism. This fundraiser ensures the future success of the Anytown Alabama Leadership Institute – a program launched in 1989 that has trained thousands of high school students to recognize bias and take a leadership role in advancing equity in our community.
