AIDS Memorial Quilt Workshop

Woodlawn United Methodist Church hosts the Michael Conway Display of the AIDS Memorial Quilt each year. On Saturday, February 22 and Saturday, March 7, we will be hosting sessions assisting you to design and assemble a panel for a loved one friend, or community member.

Day 1: Design
Brainstorm and draft the panel to honor your loved one, friend, or community member. Specific sizes and information will be available.

Day 2: Assemble
Directions will be provided on any specifications regarding how to affix elements to the panel. Feel free to bring any photos, mementos, or other materials you would like to include in the panel. There will be some fabric and resources available-more information to come. We strongly recommend coming to the first day to solidify your draft, if possible.
