Alabama Orchid Society 34th Festival and Sale

The Alabama Orchid Society is having its 34th annual Orchid Festival and Sale on Sept. 21-23, 2018 inside the auditorium of the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.  There will be hundreds of blooming orchids on display as well as orchid plants to purchase from vendors. This year, visitors decide which displays win 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards by casting votes for their favorite.

The Orchid Festival and the Birmingham Botanical Gardens are not only beautiful in September, they are also free to the public with free parking.  Photography during the show is welcomed and encouraged.  Sale hours are Fri and Sat 9 am – 5 pm, Sun 11 am – 3 pm.  Orchid Displays can only be viewed on SAT 9 am – 5 pm. and SUN 11 am – 3 pm.
