Art of Hope

The Art of Hope: Speaking the Unspoken will take place at TrimTab Brewing Company on Thursday, September 20, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. There is no admission cost. There will art available for purchase in our gallery of selected works. Enjoy light hors d’oeuvres, Paradise Chow food truck, a cash bar, and live entertainment. Prizes will be awarded to guests and artists at the end of the event.

The Art of Hope unites the Birmingham community and local artists together for a night of suicide prevention awareness. The Art of Hope is the annual Fall educational and awareness event hosted by the Alabama Chapter American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Junior Board. This event allows local artists to express the effects of mental illness and show those who are struggling that they are not alone.

We hope to illuminate the struggles and triumphs of dealing with mental illness. Our aim is to create a safe space to encourage people to engage in conversations about mental health in the community and raise awareness of mental health issues.
