ARTfix! Portraits with Andy Jordan

Space One Eleven is offering a four week portrait workshop led by artist Andy Jordan. The first week, participants will learn portraiture through a value study using charcoal; the second week will introduce color through the use of pastels; and the third and fourth weeks will focus on oil painting. Participants will work from live clothed models. Open to all skill levels.

Age 16+
Cost: $120. Participants will be given a supply list before the workshop begins.

Teaching Artist bio: Andy Jordan has taught an ongoing weekly figure drawing class at Space One Eleven for several years. He was awarded the Glenda Knight Keyes Prize for Outstanding Talent in 2011 and graduated Salutatorian of the 2013 class at Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta with a BFA in Painting. In Birmingham, he continues his explorations in painting, drawing, exhibiting, and public art, and has become a staple of the Birmingham art community.
