In this 2 hour class, you’ll learn all of the basics that will allow you to make delicious sushi at home. Our chef instructor has taught this class to over 2500 people in Birmingham in the last 3 years, and our reviews are excellent. Visit our website at www.birminghamsushiclasses.com to read reviews and learn more about our classes. Students are given a take-home cheatsheet with all pertinent info, recipes, tips & more.

shopping: where to go and what to buy

tasting and recipes for sushi’s most popular sauces

how to buy fish, and (more importantly) how to safely serve raw fish at home

Class includes 2 sushi rolls per person, prepared by the chef, and one roll per person prepared by the students. 

Water will be served with the meals, but we have an open bar available to anyone who wants to run a tab.

Class is held at noon on 6/20/15 at Dixie Fish Company on Hwy 280
