Birmingham African American Genealogy Group Monthly Meeting

The monthly genealogy and family research meeting attending to the genealogical needs of African-Americans.

Come join us on Sunday, June 14, for a personal family research activity.  Mr. Lanier will lead the discussion on USING LAND MAPS AND RECORDS IN YOUR RESEARCH.  Come prepared to select an Alabama county from which you have had past relatives living in as early as the 1870 United States Census and after Emancipation.  Your findings will be the base for September’s class on PLANTATIONS AND FARM LIFE,
