This recital, in conjunction with the Birmingham New Music Festival, is sponsored by the Birmingham Art Music Alliance, a consortium of area composers who are advocates for contemporary and experimental music. Dr. Bowles will present a thought-provoking recital of new works that push the traditional boundaries of piano performance.
