Blazer Bolt for Brain Cancer 5K

This event  was created entirely to support those who are battling brain cancer. All proceeds will directly benefit the University of Alabama Birmingham Division of Neuro Oncology and Children’s of Alabama Neuro Oncology and In 2018  funds raised will directly benefit the Tissue Repository -Brain Tumor Tissue Bank . Both pediatric and adult patients who have surgery at UAB or Childrens of AL have tumor tissue stored for laboratory research.  These samples allow our research efforts to be extremely relevant to the human condition.   This year all proceeds raised will benefit the Brain Tumor Tissue Bank Biorepository which provides a centralized source to store and disseminate specimens from patients operated on at UAB or Children’s of Alabama. This facilitates research for treatments for both children and adults battling brain cancer
