Bobby Horton: The Long Steel Rail

The Friends of the Irondale Public Library invite you to spend an evening with gifted musician and historian, Bobby Horton.  He will be performing songs and stories about the development of the railroad in the U.S., one of the most important phenomena of the Industrial Revolution.  Admission includes hors d’oeuvre buffet, beverage, concert, and silent auction of original art by members of the Irondale Arts Council.  Doors open at 6:15 pm; concert at 7:00 pm.  Purchase tickets online or at the library, 105 20th St South, Irondale.  The event venue will be held at the Pine Tree Country Club, 5100 Pine Whispers Drive, Irondale; conveniently located off I-459 at the Irondale exit, Grants Mill Road.  All proceeds to benefit the Irondale Public Library.
