Celebrate the birthday of our nation at the Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum with a good old-fashioned train ride, and picnic in the pavilion for the whole family! Everyone with a paid train ticket on this day will also receive a meal voucher for a hot dog, chips, drink and watermelon — compliments of Calera Main Street, a community Main Street Alabama! Additional meal tickets may be purchased separately from the train tickets for $4 (cash only). Lunch will be served from 11:00AM to 2:00PM.

ADMISSION INFO

Please arrive 1 hour prior to your departure time to pick up your tickets at the Calera Depot, use the restrooms at the Gift Shop and get in line at your boarding location. Make sure to visit the exhibits in our Depot Museum, our collection of railroad equipment in Clark Yard, our working Signal Garden, and our Gift Shop!

Active and Retired Veterans are invited to ride the Stars & Stripes Special and enjoy their meal for FREE (with valid ID)
