He is the creator of Goulash Comedy and Birmingham Comedy Festival, Alabama’s first ever comedy festival.
He currently runs the Birmingham chapter of Don’t Tell Comedy and Funny Free Friday, Birmingham’s longest running comedy showcase.

Chris Ivey is a Birmingham, Alabama based comedian. Chris uses a mix of storytelling and improvisation to leave audiences in stitches at comedy clubs all over the country. He played Roastmaster General in the roasts of Alexander Shunnarah and Governor Robert Bentley. He’s opened for some of the biggest names in comedy. He recently made his network TV debut on season 2 of Stand Up Nashville.
In addition to his work as a stand up comedian, Chris created Alabama’s first comedy festival, Birmingham Comedy Festival, and has a brand new podcast called “The Ivey League.”
