Chris Powell

Writer/performer Chris “Comedian CP” Powell enjoyed a thriving career in advertising in Detroit before moving to Los Angeles. Since teaming up in 2014 with his partner Chip Hall, CP has co-created, written, and starred in pilots for TBS (THE D) and MTV (THE HISTORY OF RAP). CP was cast in Showtime’s pilot WHITE FAMOUS. He was also a recurring character on EMPIRE and most recently appeared on the HBO comedy special ALL DEF COMEDY.
