Dollywood Auditions at Virginia Samford Theater

2018 Dollywood Entertainment Auditions (Singers and Singers Who Move Only)

We are looking for versatile singers who are proficient in musical theater, 50’s-60’s rock and pop vocals. Strong movement skills are a plus. We are casting strong male and female country music singers who can perform contemporary, as well as classic, country music. We are also casting expressive actors who are skilled at improvisation, have a strong presence, can project and are able to sing and move well.

Requirements

• Prepare two songs in the style(s) you do best. A verse and chorus of each song is sufficient.
• Include ballads and up-tempo songs.
• Bring sheet music in your key or CD accompaniment. Please make sure that your sheet music is clearly marked for the accompanist.
• An accompanist and CD player will be provided.
• Please do not bring accompaniment tracks on iPods, iPads or any other digital media players.
• Bring a current head shot and resume if you have one.
• Must be at least 17 years old.

Some performers may be called back later in the day for an additional movement and vocal audition.

Please be prepared to stay for the full day if you receive a callback.
