Fencing Camp for Beginners

Our Summer Camps introduce students to the basics of fencing. The sport of fencing is gaining popularity. Right here in Birmingham, we have several coaches who bring their experience as the coaches of an olympic fencing team or as an olympic fencer. Two coaches were also Chinese national champion fencers, and all of our coaches have decades of experience, skill, and love of the sport.

Beginning with warm-up activities each day, classes cover footwork, handwork, rules and strategy. We provide all the fencing equipment. Your instructor for the summer camps, Yuanjung Wang, led the Chinese National Fencing Team as head coach and is an internationally recognized referee.
