FLAMEWORKS 2016

This is the fifth gathering of artists at Kevin Irwin’s cool downtown studio. This 3-day show brings together a fabulous group of artists, including Kevin Irwin, Melanie Colvin, Chris Davis, Darrell Ezekiel, Bethanne Hill, Jane Marshall, Chiharu Roach, Laura Stacy and Lillis Taylor.  You will find a wide range of work, including glass beads and jewelry, clay sculpture, paintings, drawings, batik art, woodcuts, mixed-media sculpture, encaustic lights, wearable art, and more.

NEW this year is the Flameworks Store. The FWstore will feature a selection of work from additional artists, including Maralyn Wilson’s hand-painted silk scarves, Methane Studio’s screen printed posters, handmade books from UA Book Arts Program, photographs from Altamont School students, Daisy Winfrey’s art, Lauren Cotten’s wooden boxes, Jill Marlar’s handmade pillows, and work from Kathy Watson, Becky Bolton, Laura Levie and more!

Have your portrait made with a loved one for the holidays.  Erick Forsyth, from Three Graces Studio, will be shooting and processing wet plate tintype photos on site.  You will be able to take a photo home with you from the show.

The event is free, no admission charge.
