Located adjacent Birmingham Historical Society’s 1905 house in Sloss Quarters, where industrial workers once lived and raised their food and medecine chest, the garden recreates a home garden of the early 20th century, the days before commercial fertilizers, hybrid seeds, and highly mechanized practices.
