GRAZE: Birmingham

Find out which farmers work with your favorite Birmingham chefs, and will be ‘paired’ to make a new taste creation at ASAN’s GRAZE: Birmingham event!   Eighteen farmer/chef pairs will create food tastings to delight with the freshest farm products, which might include tart tasting zebra tomatoes in a signature salad, garlic and oyster mushrooms in a cream sauce with freshly roasted pig, hand-made ice cream with basil, and more!

Enjoy this picnic-style outing to support ASAN, Alabama Sustainable Agriculture Network – formed in 2001 by organic, sustainable farmers to promote good, healthy food, the organization represents 1,400 farmers, farm workers, sustainable farm suppliers and businesses, good food eaters, community garden organizers, home gardeners, and fresh food advocates.

Event proceeds support small, rural farmers using healthy methods of sustainable growing and herding.
